Former BURN IN SILENCE Vocalist Joins ACARO

March 26, 2008

Vocalist Chris Harrell formerly of the now-defunct Boston, Massachusetts-based metalcore band BURN IN SILENCE has issued the following update:

"I am happy and proud to announce that I have officially joined the band ACARO. This was solidified over this past weekend. These are a group of very talented, driven and focused musicians that I felt an IMMEDIATE bond with. We will be recording very soon so you can all hear what it's going to sound like with vocals but you can check out our page to hear some of the music. Stay tuned to hear more about what's going on."

BURN IN SILENCE officially called it quits in January. No reason was given for the band's decision to split.

BURN IN SILENCE's latest album, "Angel Maker", came out in 2006 via Prosthetic. The CD was recorded with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH) in late 2005 and early 2006, with Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) handling mixing duties. The record is the follow-up to BURN IN SILENCE's self-released "Pure as Your First Day" EP.
